Who we are
Assisi Centre for Social Justice and Peace is a social change Not-for-profit Organisation working at the intersection of Gender Justice, Social Inclusion and Non-Violent Resolution of Conflicts in Ugandan Schools and Communities.
Premised on the belief that investing in every childβs education can be our worldβs smartest investment, Assisi Centre for Social Justice and Peace (ACESJP) exists to create a world free from illiteracy, exclusion, violence, and gender inequality.

In pursuit of our goal we focus on;
Supporting disadvantaged school-going children to learn, thrive, and defend their right to acquire an education.
Working closely with individuals, institutions and communities to tackle root causes of violence against children, women and girls.
Advancing processes that fully utilize the potential of women and girls, and young people to challenge barriers that constrain their choice and agency.
Innovating and scaling interventions that build competencies for conflict resolution and abilities to drive sustainable peace and development among youth.
