OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE ACTIONS
Assisi Centre has been at the frontlines of building resilience among populations that are least able to protect themselves during and after the COVID-19 crisis. The Centre has worked to restore food security and income-earning opportunities among vulnerable communities through direct cash transfers, reduced the prevalence of COVID – driven hunger and malnutrition among highly vulnerable communities through direct provision of food and non-food items, assisted in reducing the spread of COVID-19 among communities through provision of hand washing stations, hand liquid soap, masks, sanitizers and dissemination campaigns.
