Through our 𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗢 𝗞𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗬𝗔𝗟𝗔 Initiative, we are assisting food vendors to stay afloat, amid new COVID-19 lockdown measures which include – a directive for all vendors to sleep in markets through the end of July, as a measure to curb the surge in COVID -19 infections and deaths.

With the support of our friends around the world – we have distributed 50-bed nets to food vendors in Gaba and Bunga markets Makindye Division – Kampala, supplied 50 (5Ltr) jerricans of liquid soap (1 jerrican to each vendor), and continue to work with grassroots advocacy organizations for women, to ensure that women sleeping in markets are provided sanitary points and security that guarantee their safety!
